BUGANDA FUNCTION SERVICES
INTRODUCTION
Buganda Function Services is events and functions department of the Buganda Kingdom under the supervision of Buganda Land Board. Started in 1997 for the following reasons:
To enable the Baganda and the people of Uganda find it easy for the preparation of any event by supplying all functional services and events planning advice.
To enable the people of Buganda get jobs by employing them to work in different areas of events managent and reaserch. This enahances development of Ugandans by earning a living and and the entire Kingdom.
To generate revenue for the Buganda Kingdom in savings from services hired which will support development of the Kingdom through opening/starting other important projects like schools, hospitals, supporting Kabaka’s scholarship fund and so on.
Buganda Function Service is looked at as the events department for the entire Kingdom of Buganda therefore services being dealt in reflects the image of the kingdom.
For this matter, the department emphasises quality, honesty, and reliable services. We provide a full package required for one to make his/her function memorable and successful.This follows our motto/catchword ‘Excellent Service Provider’.
SERVICES FOR HIRE
The department is composed of the following units;
Tents, tables and chairs unit, this unit involves items which are in pictorial view
Tents; are of different shapes that is canopy and V-shape
Medium tents
Bridal tents
Large tents
Mega tents
Cake tents
Camping tents.
Tables are of different type that is plastic and wooden.
Plastic are of 4 seater in square and round shape
Wooden are of 10 seater as in rectangular and round shape
Cocktails are for cocktails paties.
There are high tables of size 18ftx4ft
However different clients affected by different seating arrrangments interestingly all of them were thought of by this Kabaka’s programme by hiring out parasols
These parasols as viewed below are hired in combination that is an umblerra, table and its cover.
Chairs are differents types that is plastic armed and armless, executive chairs as view below.
Decoration unit, this unit involves services that deal in making the function beautiful, attractive, as it viewed below,

Arches, carpets of different colours, lights of diiferent types, flowers stands natural and artificial flowers.
Under this unit a package is costed as in below;
Catering Unit, this unit is all about serving and preapartion of edables like buffet, drinks on a function, the costs depends on the combination of different types of food stuffs.
It is this unit where we also do confictionery that is cake bakery the cost of this service depends on the ingridients, size that aclient needs.
Buganda Function Services has a venue that can accomadate 4 massive functions each function with 8000 guests,good will and parking space,well secure with a perimeter wall and accessibility.
These gardens are known as ‘royal gardens’ because they are with an historical kabaka’s palace located at Mengo that with in the heart of Kampal city of Uganda with a good view of a historical ‘kabaka’s lake or kayanja ka kabaka’ which provides cool breeze.
These gardens are ideal for Parties, Exhibitions, Retreats, Weddings and so on.

Below are the flower gardens where guests, brides and groom can have photography services. It is natural vegetation that is attractive and relaxing for this purpose.
BRIDAL CARS
As said aclient finds easy for preparation of a function because we hire wedding transport/convoy, this includes different types of well decorated bridal cars depending on the client’s choice. It can be Mercedes Benze, B.M.W s e.tc.To ease transportation of guests or bride and groom.
As we analyse there is nothing missing on the package; OH yes, the Baganda and Ugandans need video coverages and stilli photographs, it’s Okay,
VIDEO COVERAGE AND STILL PHOTOGRAPHY
Buganda Function Services has newly blanded machines that can capture every function and organized album of photographs, DVDs, Video tapes and a CD where aclient retrieve and print as many copies of photos as needed.interestingly under this machines we hire screens for live coverage for live viewing.
PUBLIC ADDRESS SYSTEM AND MASTER OF CEREMONIES SERVICES
We can’t histate to advise our clients about making there function jolly and lively this why there is a service of public address system and master of ceremonies.

Buganda Land Board was established to manage that part of estate returned to the Kabaka of Buganda under the Traditional Rulers Restitution of Assets and Properties Act. CAP 247 Laws of Uganda. A 350sq mile estate together with the other properties returned to the Kabaka was handed over to Buganda Land Board. Buganda Land Board therefore manages this land by way of encouraging residents to regularize their tenancy under the existing land laws of Uganda.
