Who we are
 Buganda Land Board was established to manage that part of estate returned to the Kabaka of Buganda under the Traditional Rulers Restitution of Assets and Properties Act. CAP 247 Laws of Uganda. A 350sq mile estate together with the other properties returned to the Kabaka was handed over to Buganda Land Board. Buganda Land Board therefore manages this land by way of encouraging residents to regularize their tenancy under the existing land laws of Uganda.

- Kopi y’ekyapa kya liizi eba eweddeeko (Photocopy of the Certificate of Title for the expired lease).
- Ekifaananyi ky’ekizimbe ekiri ku plot gy’osabira liizi okwongezebwayo nga bwekiri kati (photograph of the building/development on the plot for which you are seeking a lease extension at whatever stage it is to-day).
- Osasula Shs.90,000/= ezokusaba, okulambula n’okukolaa kukusabakwo ewa Cashier was Buganda Land Board. (Pay Shs.90,000/= to the Board’s cashier for application, inspection and processing)
- Tukubire mapu eraga engeri gye tusobola okutuuka ku plot yo okuva ku lugguudo olunene. (Draw sketch map directing how your plot can be reached from a named main road showing notable features).
- Pbufaananyi bwa Apassport size 2 obwoyo asaba bwebuba nga ku failo tebuliko. (Two Passport size photographs of the applicant if they are not on file).
- Asaba full term aleeta Occupation permit okuva mu Local Government emutwaala e.g. Kampala City Council, Town Council ne District Urban Officer etc. (For those applying for Full Term Extension an Occupation permit is wanted)
