Who we are
 Buganda Land Board was established to manage that part of estate returned to the Kabaka of Buganda under the Traditional Rulers Restitution of Assets and Properties Act. CAP 247 Laws of Uganda. A 350sq mile estate together with the other properties returned to the Kabaka was handed over to Buganda Land Board. Buganda Land Board therefore manages this land by way of encouraging residents to regularize their tenancy under the existing land laws of Uganda.

(FRESH LEASE REQUIREMENTS ON SSAABASAJJA KABAKA’S LAND )
- Osasula ensimbi ez’okwewandiisa, okulambula n’okutambuza emirimu shs. 200,000 = ewa Cashier wa Buganda Land Board mu namba 7 n’ofuna empapula (Forms) ezisaba liizi. (You pay a registration, inspection and processing fee of shs. 200,000 = to the Buganda Land Board Cashier office No. 7 and obtain the Lease Application Forms and fill them)
- Abaami ba Kabaka ow’Omuluka n’Omutongole okujjuza Form ekuweereddwa okuva Mu Buganda Land Board okukakasa nti ekifo ky’osaba kikyo tekiriko nkaayana yonna. Essente shs. 40.000 = ez’ebbaluwa zisasulwa eri abaami abo, ow’Omuluka n’Omutongole.(Obtain a form from Buganda Land Board to be filled and signed by Ssaabasajja’s Parish and Sub Parish Chief confirming that the plot is yours. The Shs.40.000 = on the form is to be paid officially to their office for the duties assigned)
- Leeta kkopi z’ebiwandiiko byonna by’olina ebiraga obwannannyini ku kifo ekisabibwa. (Produce copies of any relevant documents relating to ownership of the plot applied for)
- Kuba ka mapu akalagirira okutuuka ku plot yo okuva ku luguudo olunene era olage obuwanvu bw’olugendo.( Draw a sketch map directing how the place applied for can be reached)
- Kampuni nga y’esaba, twetaaga copy ya “Articles ne Memorandum of Association” awamu ne “Certificate of Registration’’.( In case of a company, submit a copy of the Articles & Memorandum of Association Plus a Certificate of Registration.)
- Oleeta ekifananyi ekya “camera” eky’ekizimbe ekiri ku plot esabibwa nga bwe kitunula kati.( Produce a photograph of the existing development on the plot applied for.)
- Tungako obufaananyi bwo obwa “ camera” nga bw’ofanana kati ku form ezikuweereddwa Buganda Land Board.
- (Attach your passport size photographs on the forms obtained from Buganda Land Board.)
