Who we are

Buganda Land Board was established to manage that part of estate returned to the Kabaka of Buganda under the Traditional Rulers Restitution of Assets and Properties Act. CAP 247 Laws of Uganda. A 350sq mile estate together with the other properties returned to the Kabaka was handed over to Buganda Land Board. Buganda Land Board therefore manages this land by way of encouraging residents to regularize their tenancy under the existing land laws of Uganda.

Recommendation for the Lease applicantfrom Kabaka’s chiefs, the Muluka chief and
Omutongole
To draw a sketch map directing to the applied piece of land.
If the area applied for has a building lease attach a photograph of the building.
Photocopy of relevant documents supporting the ownership of the applied piece of plot.
For companies and organisations applying for leases attach a photocopy of Articles
and Memorandum of Association and Certifi cate of Incorporation...
